Hello!
I’m Mercedes, a wedding and elopement photographer for the adventurous romantics. I am based in the charming seaside town of Homer, Alaska and love to explore. I absolutely love capturing the beauty of love, especially against the stunning backdrop of this incredible state.
As a photographer, it’s essential for me to build a genuine connection with my couples and understand their unique stories. This helps me capture their authentic moments in a way that is both creative and true to who they are.
My journey in photography started with landscape photography, where I would take my camera on hikes, road trips and other adventures to not only capture the breathtaking wilderness but also the emotions I felt in those moments. When I transitioned to photographing people, I aimed to blend my love for landscapes with intimate portraits, featuring couples as my focal point amidst the beauty of nature.
