Our Story
Stillwater Cottages is a boutique property on the shores of Lake Lucille in Wasilla offering modern, comfortable cottages just minutes from downtown Wasilla. The seven cottages each have their own private barrel sauna and access to shared amenities like lakeside firepits, kayaks, lawn games and a playground. The cottages are an ideal home base for wedding guests—or the perfect setting for a full property buyout. Couples can reserve the entire site for a private wedding weekend, creating a relaxed, all-in-one experience for friends and family. Five two-bedroom and two one-bedroom cottages sleep 24 people in 12 Queen-sized beds. One cottage is wheelchair-accessible.
Also located on the property, The Little Lakehouse is a small event venue designed for rehearsal dinners, bridal showers, and elopements. With lake views, indoor-outdoor flow, and a layout that works well for catering or casual gatherings, it’s available as a standalone rental or as part of a full buyout.
